How To Keep Healthy Without Medicine?
This question has been asked to me many times before and, I think, it would be asked in the future too. If you want an answer in short, I should say one may keep good health without medicine subject to some conditions; yes, really, conditions apply....
Let me clarify, perhaps you know that everyone of us get some familial taints during birth. Yes, nobody of us is completely healthy i.e., free from diseases. Possibly this is called sin of human race in few religions. There are a lot of diseases whose legacies are carried out by the present successors from their previous predecessors ages after ages. In some families, the gravity of such maladies may be lesser compared to others. To keep good health without medicine is dependent on this factor to a considerable extent. Let us take it for granted that you have least amount of disease-dyscrasia inherited from parents. In that case if you follow the advices below you can jolly well maintain your health without any medicine to a large extent:
1)Avoid all sorts of addictions, for, most of them weaken your Immune System but for which keeping healthy without medicine is hardly possible.
2)Keep youself tension free; do some tiring physical work everyday - this helps you keeping tension free as well as physically fit.
3)Take food & water timely; food must contain enough green vegetables and fibrous fruits which absorb toxins from digested foods and expel those out from the system along with stool. Avoid free salt, too salty, fatty and sugary foods and also packet-ready foods and drinks including so called cold drinks. Excess salt, fat and sugar are three prime factors to usher in a lot of trouble. 4)Get Vitamin C and Vitamin E -- they are important antioxidants which fights out evil from our systems. All types of citrus foods and fresh vegetables etc. are rich sources of Vitamin C. Mustard greens(Dhone pata), Spinach (Palong), Broccoli, Nuts, Egg-yolk, All sprouted seeds, Olive oil, Papaya etc. are rich in Vitamin E.
5)Avoid red meat completely, for, it is confirmed that it causes Rectal Cancer.
6)Avoid foods with artificial colors, artificial preservatives, transfat and other known harmful chemicals and carcinogens.
7)Brush your teeth before going to bed everyday(MUST). In the morning, you may or may not do the same.
8)Carefully wash your hands returning home from outside, before taking any food. Use of soap is not mandatory.
9)Drink 2 - 2.5 L. of water daily.
10)Do not take medicine for trifles; allow your body to react naturally to overcome small illness; if necessary take rest. But never be tab-happy or cap-happy! Tabs and caps very often decrease your immune power!
11)If you are very much disciplined and maintain everything punctually; please keep one day for your absolute relaxation when you indulge yourself to remain in bed any hours you like, do not do any exercise, just give yourself absolute liberty to listen to music, to enjoy TV/video for hours to-gether. 13) HEALTHY SEX REJUVENATES; BUT DO NOT INDULGE YOURELF WITH PROMISCUOUS SEX.
14)Kindly remember: Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise! So, unless it is really needed, please don't keep awake beyond 10pm and stick to bed beyond 5am. Unless you are a real yogi, you need at least 6 hrs. sound sleep to keep fit.
